I work across the full Product Design lifecycle. From problem framing through to prototyping and working with engineering.

I've recently built a small macOS app called Ahem, using AI development tools (mainly Claude Code).

A lot of product and design work fails in one of two directions: skipping thinking to appear fast, or spending too long researching. I look for the right balance: enough research and assumptions, then rapid delivery paired with high quality standards.

I came to design through a humanities education, spending time at Reed College in the US. That instinct for thinking across disciplines and going deep has stayed with me. When combined with a lean and pragmatic approach, I find it gives very good results.
